Our 2021-2022 Registration & Tuition Payment Information

PAYMENT POLICIES: Dance Dynamics tuition is based on an entire season of dance. Our season runs from September – June. All dancers are required to pay for the entire season.  If you enroll mid-season we will prorate your tuition based on when you begin dancing with us. Tuition is not based on the number of classes in a month or on attendance. There is NO refund for missed classes as we provide a make-up schedule.

You may pay the entire season in full or pay it in monthly installments. At the time of registration, a deposit equal to one half of your monthly installments will be due. This deposit and registration fee are non-refundable. The other installments are due the 1st of each month, September 2021 – June 2022, and will be automatically billed to the card on file on the 1st of each month.

All monthly tuition payments, costume payments, and end of year show fees will be auto-drafted to the card on file. You will be emailed a receipt after your tuition is auto-drafted. All payments MUST be completed by the date of our annual show.

RECEIPT OF PAYMENT: You will not receive a billing statement or invoice prior to any charges, however, you will receive a receipt of payment each month after the auto-draft.

LATE FEE: If your card on file is declined, an alternate payment must be made within 48 hours. A $15 Late Fee will be charged for any payments not made in full by the 1st of the month. This includes declined charges for cards on file for any reason.

RETURNED CHECK FEE: $25 

PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION: I hereby authorize Dance Dynamics to charge my credit or debit card for all services and products related to my family’s enrollment in classes and activities at Dance Dynamics including but not limited to tuition, supplemental materials, special events, costumes, concert or annual show fees, accessories, etc. Fees are subject to change. If I elect to pay annual tuition via monthly installments, I understand that my credit or debit card will continue to be charged on the monthly, session or periodic basis unless I notify the studio in writing 30 days before intent to discontinue via email to dancedynamicsnj@comcast.net and receive an acknowledged returned response from Dance Dynamics staff. I understand that it will not be sufficient notice to merely tell an instructor or other employee of our intent to discontinue. I have read this entire agreement and understand that I will be held fully responsible for its terms and conditions of service, including a 30-day written notice by email to Dance Dynamics of any intent to discontinue. I understand that once the monthly installments for my annual tuition, my show fee or my costume fee have occurred there will be no refund given if I decide to discontinue. I agree to notify Dance Dynamics immediately of any change in the status of my charge account including but not limited to card expiration, name change, limitation of use, loss or theft of the card, etc. In the event that the amount charged is refused for whatever reason, I accept responsibility for full payment for the amount charged.

We accept cash, check, MC, VISA, DISCOVER, and AMEX. 

CUSTOMER PORTAL: Each family will have a portal to process payments, register for classes, etc. It is your responsibility to keep all info (contact info, payment info, etc.) up to date. You can sign up or log in on the homepage of our website. Please contact dancedynamicsnj@comcast.net with any questions about your portal and/or account info. In this portal, when registering a parent or guardian will need to sign off on all the policies below.

REGISTRATION SYSTEM: Our registration is easy and user-friendly, just follow the steps. We highly recommend all new students consult with a representative to review our classes to determine your best class fit.

Please Read through our Studio Handbook to learn about our account, tuition and class policies. Visit our secure and safe online software website by using the Parent Portal button. New families will need to register for the program. Complete all necessary information, select your class(es), pay the registration fee, 1st month’s tuition and await an email confirming your registration. Please be advised that all online registrations are subject to change due to class availability and enrollment. All registrations must be approved by an administrative staff member.

All accounts are required to have a credit card on account and enroll in automatic tuition payment. Your information is secure and is safely stored on our secure database. If you prefer to pay by cash, check or money order, please contact office staff for arrangements. If you’d like to mail your payment, please send it to Dance Dynamics, 2609 Route 9, Ocean View, NJ 08230.

​Print and complete the Medical Waiver and Dress Code form for your child. These forms are mandatory for class participation. You can obtain these forms at the top of this page, attached to your email confirmation or under the documents section in the parent portal.

Once your registration has been approved, you will receive an email confirming your student’s enrollment as well as a receipt of payment

By entering the online registration process, you acknowledge that you have read our Handbook and agree to the following: studio policies, costume policies, tuition rates, dress code rules, medical release form and account policies.

Returning Customers: Please check and confirm your contact, payment information, and dancer’s school grade is correct and up to date. Once you have registered, please verify all your classes are correct by logging into your customer portal.

ASSUMPTIONS OF RISK & WAIVERS OF LIABILITY 

PHOTO RELEASE: I, hereby, grant Dance Dynamics permission to use my child’s photograph/video for promotional purposes and/or social media and Dance Dynamics website.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I understand dance can be a strenuous activity and accept responsibility for any injuries my child may incur while participating in any activity at Dance Dynamics. Dance Dynamics and its employees are not liable for personal injury, or loss of or damage to personal property.

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY RELATING TO CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19:

The coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. 

Dance Dynamics will make every effort to keep our studio sanitized and to prevent symptomatic employees and dancers from entering the building. However COVID-19 has been proven to be asymptomatic in some persons. Therefore, Dance Dynamics cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19 or any other unknown virus. 

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child(ren) and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending Dance Dynamics and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. By signing this agreement, I agree that my child and any accompanying persons will not enter Dance Dynamics if we exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s attendance at Dance Dynamics. On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Dance Dynamics, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Dance Dynamics, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 or other currently unknown virus infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Dance Dynamics program or class.

REGISTRATION FEES: A non-refundable registration fee of $35 is due upon registration. 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: We require a 30-day written notice via email if you need to withdraw from Dance Dynamics. Please email  dancedynamicsnj@comcast.net to withdraw from our 2021-2022 season. After the 30-day notice, we will terminate your monthly installment, or, if a full year was paid, we will refund the remaining installments minus 30%. 

MAKE-UP CLASSES: If your dancer misses class due to illness or other personal reasons, they will be able to make up the missed class in a similar class. There will be no discount or refund given for missed classes. There are no make-ups for classes missed when the studio is officially closed for holidays, etc. All classes missed due to inclement weather can be made up at your convenience using our existing class schedule.

YEAR-END SHOW: We produce a beautiful production at the end of the year with all Dance Dynamics dancers. This is an exciting and rewarding part of the season that everyone looks forward to! We encourage all dancers to participate! Stay tuned for our Show Date Announcement. 

YEAR-END SHOW COSTUMES: Costume costs are generally $90.00-$150.00 per costume (you will receive the exact amount by February) A costume deposit will be required before costumes are ordered. This deposit is not refundable for any reason. Any costume alterations needed will be the responsibility of the parent. If your dancer will not be participating, you are required to notify us by email to dancedynamicsnj@comcast.net no later than December 30th. Please do not rely on your dancer to inform us that she or he will not be dancing in the show!

ANNUAL SHOW: In early Spring, we will announce the exact show date,dress rehearsal dates and all other tech rehearsals. A show fee is required, and all payments must be paid to participate in the show. Tickets to our Year-End Shows will need to be purchased. Dancers performing in the show do not need a ticket. More information on Show Tickets, including when they will be available to purchase, and cost will be sent out in the spring. 

DRESS CODE: Proper shoes and attire must be worn to participate in class. Hair should be pulled back off the face for all classes. A proper bun must be worn for ballet class. Don’t forget to write your name in all shoes, bags, etc. You can find descriptions and examples of the proper attire for each class in the Classes section of our website.

GENERAL RULES:  Please discuss these rules with your dancers! Thank you!

  • No food or drinks other than water inside the studios. No exceptions!
  • No cell phones, smart watches (like Apple Watch), smart earphones (like AirPods) are allowed in the dance rooms at any time. If they are inside a dance bag, they should be turned off. If dancers are wearing these in class, they will be asked to remove and take to office staff for safekeeping until class is over.
  • Rhythm is a large place, so please keep an eye on your children, no running or climbing on furniture PLEASE!
  • All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times unless they are in class.
  • All personal belongings may be kept in the hallway or in the studio with the dancer if needed. Dance Dynamics is not responsible for items left behind. Please make sure you check for all your belongings before leaving the studio.
  • Preschool and Kindergarten Parents: Please take your dancer to the restroom BEFORE class begins to avoid accidents and disruptions to class.
  • Please make an effort to be prompt! Excessive tardiness picking up your child will result in additional fees.
  • No parents, friends, or siblings are allowed in the classroom at any time. This is for the benefit of your dancer. They will learn more if we have their complete attention. Viewing windows are available.
  • If your dancer drops a class, a 30-day written notice is required. You will be responsible for payment until the written notice is received and the 30 day period has passed.
  • For the safety of our dancers, we typically follow local school district decisions on inclement weather school closings. However, you should always use your own judgement when deciding to travel due to weather. We will confirm our closing via email when inclement weather affects Dance Dynamics. No refunds for inclement weather. All classes missed due to inclement weather can be made up at your convenience using our existing class schedule.
